The breakfast was amazing with several choices available. i especially loved the fresh pastries and fruit (i had three croissants!). the room, a standard double or twin room intimacy, had great soundproofing ensuring a restful sleep. the hotel features art installations. the location was convenient, near the beach and local restaurants. check-in was quick, and the room had everything i needed (it was surprisingly spacious).
The service definitely did not match a four-star expectation. There was no service by the pool.

the location was great it was only a few minutes walk to the train station the tram the centre and the beach. the hotel had a nice arty vibe and the staff were pleasant to deal with. the room had a kettle and a fridge which were handy to have.
to enter you have to lug your suitcase up some steps and push open a massive double door. breakfast lacked variety and every day the same type of pastries were offered. the wicker chairs are low and not comfortable for breakfast.

The room decor felt quite dated. The walls had what looked like amateur art (I'm sure someone liked it). The bathroom was small, and the shower design caused water to spill onto the floor every time (a real hazard!).

The location was great, providing easy access to nearby attractions. The staff was very cute and helpful . i found the breakfast to be good. The evening meals were lovely and reasonably priced. the garden was amazing, and my room was excellent!
My room was a bit dated. The decor felt old, and i could hear noise in the hallway.
